Product Overview
The Siemens SIMATIC HMI KTP700 Basic PN (6AV2123-2GB03-0AX0) is a second-generation 7″ Basic Panel for machine-level operation and monitoring. It has a 7″ TFT widescreen with LED backlight, 800 × 480 resolution and 65,536 colors. Operators can use the touch screen or the 8 function keys. The panel runs on 24 V DC (19.2–28.8 V), draws 230 mA rated and has 10 MB of user memory on an ARM processor.
Communication runs through one Industrial Ethernet (PROFINET) port with support for PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP, so the panel works with S7-1200 and S7-1500 controllers. A USB port takes storage devices up to 16 GB. Projects can hold up to 250 screens, 800 tags, 1,000 bit alarms, 50 recipes and 2 archives of 10,000 entries each, and they are configured in WinCC Basic or STEP 7 Basic (TIA Portal) V13 or higher. The front is rated IP65 (IP20 rear), measures 214 × 158 mm with a 197 × 141 mm cutout and a 39 mm depth, and can be mounted in landscape or portrait.
