Product Overview

The Rittal AE 1060.500 is a compact wall-mounted enclosure from Rittal’s AE series, measuring 600 mm wide, 600 mm high and 210 mm deep. The body is made from 1.38 mm sheet steel and the door from 1.75 mm sheet steel with an all-round foamed-in PU seal. Enclosure and door are dip-coat primed and powder-coated outside with a textured RAL 7035 finish, giving IP66 protection to IEC 60529, NEMA 4 and IK08 impact resistance.

The enclosure is supplied ready to build: it comes with a 2.5 mm zinc-plated mounting plate (549 × 570 mm) and a sheet steel gland plate in the base. The single door has an interchangeable hinge side and is secured by two cam locks with 3 mm double-bit inserts. With UL/cUL listing plus DNV-GL and Lloyd’s Register approvals, the AE 1060.500 is a dependable housing for control panels, PLC and drive systems, distribution and instrumentation in industrial plants and harsh environments.
