Product Overview
The LS ELECTRIC Metasol MC-18b is a 3-pole magnetic contactor from the compact 22 AF frame, rated 18 A in AC-3 duty for switching three-phase motors up to 7.5 kW at 380/440 V (4.5 kW at 200/240 V). This version has a 220 V AC, 50/60 Hz coil and includes a built-in 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contact for interlocking and signalling, with an AC-1 thermal current of 32 A for resistive loads.
Built to IEC/EN 60947-4-1 and UL 508, the MC-18b offers 15 million mechanical and 2.5 million electrical operations, a 690 V rated insulation voltage and 6 kV impulse withstand. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail or by screws, has IP20 finger-safe screw terminals and accepts the MT-32 thermal overload relay directly, making it a convenient building block for DOL starters, star-delta starters and general control panels.
