Product Overview
The Omron E3Z-D61 is a compact diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor with a built-in amplifier from Omron’s widely used E3Z series. It detects objects up to 100 mm away (white paper 100 × 100 mm) using an 860 nm infrared LED, runs on 12–24 VDC and provides an NPN open-collector output rated up to 100 mA with a fast 1 ms response time.
Housed in a small 10.8 × 31 × 20 mm PBT case with IP67 protection, the sensor has a single-turn sensitivity adjuster, selectable Light-ON/Dark-ON operation, and orange operation and green stability indicators for easy setup. Built-in short-circuit, reverse-polarity and mutual-interference protection make it a reliable choice for presence detection on conveyors, packaging lines and assembly machines.
