Product Overview

The ABB S203-C32 (order code 2CDS253001R0324) is a 3-pole, 32 A miniature circuit breaker from ABB’s System pro M compact S200 range. Its C tripping characteristic combines thermal overload protection with electromagnetic short-circuit tripping, making it suited to circuits with moderate inrush currents such as small motors, transformers and lighting groups. It carries a 6 kA rated short-circuit capacity (Icn) to IEC/EN 60898-1 and is energy limiting class 3.

Under IEC/EN 60947-2 the S203-C32 reaches an ultimate breaking capacity of 10 kA at 400 V AC and 20 kA at 230 V AC, with a rated operational voltage up to 440 V AC. The breaker occupies three 17.5 mm modules on a standard 35 mm DIN rail, uses ABB’s failsafe bi-directional cylinder-lift terminals for cables up to 35 mm², and is approved to IEC/EN 60898-1, IEC/EN 60947-2 and UL 1077.
