Product Overview

The Growatt MIN 5000TL-X is a 5 kW transformerless single-phase on-grid inverter for residential and small commercial solar systems. It has two independent MPP trackers with one string each, a wide 80–550 V MPPT range and a 100 V start voltage, so it starts producing early in the morning and handles different roof orientations. It accepts up to 7000 W of recommended PV power and delivers 5000 W / 5000 VA at 230 V with a maximum output current of 22.7 A.

Growatt rates the inverter at 98.4% maximum efficiency, 97.5% European efficiency and 99.9% MPPT efficiency. The IP65 housing is cooled by natural convection, runs from -25 °C to +60 °C and weighs only 10.8 kg (375 × 350 × 160 mm), which keeps wall mounting simple. Built-in protections include DC reverse polarity, a DC switch, insulation and residual current monitoring, grid monitoring and anti-islanding. Status is shown on an OLED display with LEDs, and RS485/USB plus optional Wi-Fi, GPRS, RF or LAN modules connect it to Growatt’s monitoring platform.
